Astraea 3340

It's the first day of the winter season! Advent begins today, and along with it, the long winter celebrations that won't really be finished until 12 Herthe (6 Jan, 2021!).

Astraea is an alternate name for the Janya of the sky, Sai Ourania/Ouranya: 'Astraea' means 'star maiden' & Ourania is a Greek name meaning 'heavenly'. In Greek mythology, Ourania/Urania is the name of the Muse of Astronomy. It is fitting, therefore, that the Star of all stars arrives in this month to herald the arrival of the Daughter!
