Happy Hestiad!

The Day of Sai Herthe is marked in honour of Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth. As mentioned before at the start of the month, many Goddesses were incorporated into Filianism as angels (Janyati) and continue to be honoured; in fact, the word 'Goddess' and 'Janya' are mostly seen as interchangeable. Today is a good day to burn the yule log, and is an important opportunity to bless the home. As on Lady Athene's day, honouring Hestia directly if you have a connection with her, or would like to form a connection with her, is also a good idea for this day.
