Lady Athene's Day

Today honors Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, as Lady Athene. 

The ECE (pg 225) describes her as "the Janya of wisdom as reason, intelligence, and knowledge (contrasted with Alethea, Janya of Divine Wisdom and Gnosis, or revelation). She is the guardian Janya of students, philosophers, and all connected with academic pursuits, who may call on her for inspiration." (As with other Janya, she may also be called Sai Athene.) 

For those who feel a connection with Lady Athene or the Goddess Athena, this is a good day to do something in her honor or add something that reminds you of her to your shrine. This is not a high festival, and there is nothing prescribed for the day in what resources mention her, but is, like Saint days, a day marked by those with a connection to the Janya or seeking to form a connection with her.
