Princess of the World

A very happy Lady Day to you!

The Eastre festivities continue with this festival, also known as Princess Day or Day of Our Sovereign Lady, which celebrates the second of the Daughter's titles: Princess of the World. The first of Her titles is implied on Eastre, where She is celebrated as Priestess of the World at the same time we celebrate Her resurrection. Her third and final title, Queen of Heaven, is honoured much later on May Day (May 1/Maia 14). 

The orange cake I made on Eastre was so good everyone wanted it again, so we're having it today as well, haha. If you come across Magnolia Mixes, their orange pound cake is delicious, even when you make it vegan like we do!

The ECE writes that Lady Day is a day of praise, and a day for calling Her blessing on all that is. Planting seeds is also a way to honor the day (ECE 5th ed, pg 189).
